Savvy Bulge asked: With 30 MLB teams earning average revenues of $150M/team per year, that’s approximately $5B/year total revenues. Assuming 1) the government (local usually) owns all or most of the facilities, 2) charges the teams 30% on revenues, and 3) runs them at 30% profit, the government(s) already make $500M/year off MLB.
